By using Miriel, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Medical Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: Miriel provides general nutrition information only. It is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice.
- Always consult a pediatrician or registered dietitian for medical nutrition therapy
- Do not rely solely on AI recommendations for children with serious allergies or medical conditions
- In case of allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention
3. AI Limitations
Our AI coach:
- May occasionally provide inaccurate nutrition information
- Cannot diagnose medical conditions
- Should not replace professional healthcare providers
- May not catch all allergens in complex ingredients
Always verify critical allergy information independently.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your child's allergies and health conditions
- Verify AI-generated meal suggestions against known allergies
- Not use the app for children with severe, life-threatening allergies without medical guidance
- Keep your account secure
5. Subscriptions & Payments
Miriel offers optional paid subscriptions:
- Standard ($4.99/month): Unlimited scans and AI chats, weekly and monthly reports, growth tracking (1 child)
- Advanced ($9.99/month): All Standard features plus unlimited child profiles, advanced analytics, and multi-child growth tracking
Subscriptions are billed monthly through your Apple ID and automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
A free tier is available with limited daily usage (1 scan/day, 5 AI chats/day, 1 child profile).
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Miriel and its developers (Poseidon R&D Inc) shall not be liable for any health issues resulting from reliance on app recommendations.
This app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
7. Children's Privacy
Miriel is designed for parents and guardians to manage their children's nutrition data. By using this app, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of any child whose data you enter. For full details on how we handle children's data, see our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Miriel are owned by Poseidon R&D Inc and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from Account > Privacy > Delete Account within the app.
10. Dispute Resolution
If you have a concern or dispute regarding Miriel, please contact us first at mirielsp@mirielai.com — we are here to help and will make every effort to resolve your issue promptly.
If we are unable to resolve the matter informally, any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Newark, Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
11. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
